Meet the Job Futures I.T. Team
Damian Higgins
Network Manager
|
Damian has over 15 years of practical IT experience working in senior LAN and WAN management positions. His project management skills are world class and he has delivered some of Australia’s largest LAN and WAN rollouts. This ensures that Job Futures IT projects are delivered on time and with in budget.
Damian manages the day-to-day operations of Job Futures IT. His technical support and application development team are able to other support for all Microsoft server products & applications |
From 1998 to 2004 Damian was the General Manager for Nettis. Nettis handled clients of up to 200 users until it was purchased by a conglomerate and no longer exists. Whilst with Nettis Damian was sub contracted to IBM and Com Tech on projects for SOE role outs and general server environment support. In his spare time Damian is catching up on cricket news and you’ll often and him at the SCG when there is a high profile game on. Generally Damian will be happy watching any good game of sport. |
Damien Reilly
Project Manager

With over 20 years of IT industry experience Damien’s specialist skill is the ability to integrate practical Internet based communication systems into businesses. He creates leverage for clients by reducing their communication costs allowing his clients to grow through improved and more effcient forms of
communication and great design.

His diverse and far reaching global networks in technology provide Job Futures IT with a market leading edge in web based communication systems, data mining systems, database development tools and digital content management systems.This is helped by the source code libraries Damien has put together over his career.
In his spare time Damien trains in Tai Kwon Do.

Anthony Higgins
Senior Systems Engineer |
Anthony has more than 20 years of IT&C engineering experience. Before joining Job Futures IT he worked on many hi-tech R&D projects performing hands-on analog and digital electronics hardware design, embedded systems, digital signal processing development and commercial software engineering. Anthony
previously owned a niche systems engineering consulting company for 6 years delivering innovative, award winning designs. Customers included multinational corporations such as Email Westinghouse and JDS Uniphase.

He is a technology patent holder and an author of several journal papers, and has presented papers at numerous international engineering conferences. He also holds a graduate diploma in technology management.
Anthony is a Certified Kaseya Systems Engineer and is currently obtaining certification for architecting Riverbed WAN optimisation solutions. He has lectured at the university level and presented engineering industry training courses while working for Sydney University.

Dan Speak

Originally from the UK but calling Bondi Beach home since 1998 Dan has 10 years of Project Management experience in Sydney & overseas. Dan has a passion for IT, a solid reporting background and is an avid reader and follower of digital markets. |
Dan brings his experience of managing high volume projects to
the table along with a great network of connections in the IT industry both local and the UK. He has travelled extensively throughout Asia, South America & Europe and is passionate about travel, great music, technology and excellence in food.

Claude Caprar
Design and Creative Team

Having started his affair with graphics within a Comicbook Shop setting, co-managing a store for over 8 years, he has also worked on a 4-year project within the University of Western Sydney in the capacity of a Publication and Events Co-ordinator prior to its re-structure. Being part of the generation of designers who exploded and crashed with the dot-com boom, he chose to stay within the printed mediums realising the Internet was but an infant with a temper. |
With over 10 years industry experience and a passion for the printed form and electronic music, Claude is the designer behind Job Futures artistic visions. |
Peter Ang
Network Support Engineer

Peter is a Network Engineer at Job Futures IT with over 10 years IT experience. His specialist area is Cisco routing. Cisco are the leading supplier of networking equipment and network management for the Internet. This expertise keeps downtime to an absolute minimum and lets people communicate with large
networks quickly and effciently.
Enabling the sharing of data quickly in a secure environment is paramount to institutions like Job Futures when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. |
Peter ensures that the information remains this way; he keeps up to date with new technology and is always the thrst to know about changes with a ny Cisco product. Prior to working for Job Futures IT Peter was the IT Support Manager at the Australian Internet Company for 5 years.
When time allows he loves to take in new sites around the globe. He unwinds by reading Sci-Fi & Fantasy novels being a ardent fan of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. |
Steve Mansour
Network Support Engineer

Having been around IT for more than 15 years and working in the industry for over 10, Steve is quite the authority on Microsoft Server & Windows products and is a Network Support Engineer at Job Futures IT. His resume boasts over 50 Dell Certifications for all range of Dell products, he is a Microsoft Certified Professional and specialises in networks and a range of services from wireless technology all the way up to high-end servers.

Steve is in touch with many Technology markets, keeping ahead as they continue to change on a daily basis and believes their function is the backbone of society.
He does occasionally wind down with a movie and spends most of his spare time with his family.

Carl Young
Service Delivery Manager

Carl has been in IT for over 10 years and is currently the Service Delivery Manager with Job Futures IT. Experienced in a broad range of technology and has worked with and supported many large networks. His forte is with Microsoft products that form a large area of his knowledge. Enjoying the changing landscape of
the IT industry Carl is a great lateral thinker and problem solver. |
Outside work he plays golf and the occasional cricket game. AFL is his footy game of choice being an avid Swans supporter. Carl is also an aspiring ‘Dream Team’ coach, catching a game or 2 a week. |
Michael Mansour
Network Support Engineer

Michael has been in the IT industry for 15 years and is a senior UNIX Engineer. Skill based with UNIX, Linux, Linux Clusters, Web hosting, Email Filtering, Domain Names, Networking & Firewalls. He is a qualified Red Hat Certified Engineer (Linux). |
Armed with this knowledge Michael finds quality solutions for all the Job Futures e-communication hurdles an institution of it’s size faces each day. this helps ensure optimum performance on the network and minimises downtime.
When he has a day to himself he relaxes doing the gardening at his home. |
Michal Marciszewski
Network Support Engineer

6 years of experience in IT helds has qualified Michal to the position of Windows Support Engineer with Job Futures IT. A solid background in graphic design, web development and Microsoft Windows products gave Michal a clear understanding of the inner workings of this technology.
In this time he has achieved several qualifications including; Certificate III in Network Administration, Microsoft Certified Professional - Windows XP & Windows 2003 Server and is currently studying to become a Microsoft |
Certified System Engineer. Michal is aware of constantly changing technology and the varied challenges that it brings always looking to broaden his already vast knowledge knowing that there is always something new to learn.
At the weekends Michal spends a lot of time outdoors either surftng, hiking and at music festivals. He also is a frequent visitor
to his local gym. |
Krishan Deegalla
System Developer

An impressive portfolio on previous high spec projects and his quick turnaround time secured his place with the Job Futures team. Krishan is a wealth of IT knowledge and can turn complex pipedreams into simple functional working systems, a knack envied by many in the world of developers. |
Cricket is in Krishan’s blood and if he’s not watching the 5 day tests you’ll find him in the nets of the Sydney VETS training ground. Krishan believes in keeping a strong commitment to the local community. Before moving to Australia he worked for ‘LIFE’ a non profit NGO involved in tobacco, alcohol and drug prevention activities in the city Kandy, Sri Lanka. |
Taner Ozonaran
System Developer

Taner has a natural way of understanding the scope of a project, often before the clients do. He then puts his magic to work by creating turnkey solutions in the form of dynamic websites. He holds the position of senior systems developer at Job Futures IT, looking after many key accounts.

In his spare time Taner unwinds with a fishing rod or under the bonnet of one of his latest car restoration projects.
